As a Sales Lead at Visionworks, you're the cornerstone of our patient and customer interactions, pivotal in guiding them through a seamless and positive experience. You'll leverage your deep understanding of optics, our diverse range of products and services, and managed vision care to empower individuals to make informed choices about their eyewear. Your role involves personally navigating each patient and customer through their Visionworks journey, ensuring their needs are met with simplicity, genuine care, and a confident approach. This position is ideal for someone with at least 12 months of prior optical industry experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 12 months of experience in the optical industry (either within Visionworks or another organization) or ABO Certification.
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent professional work experience.
• Ability to maintain Optician License requirements per state guidelines, as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional service, whether it's a warm greeting over the phone or a welcoming smile as a patient enters the store, always striving to help customers look and see their best.
• Maintain and fulfill all necessary license requirements per state guidelines for dispensing eyewear where applicable.
• Drive daily sales objectives by ensuring an outstanding customer/patient experience at every touchpoint.
• Actively engage with patients and customers, offering expert recommendations on products and services that align with their eye care requirements.
• Accurately measure patients/customers for their eyewear and continuously enhance product and optical knowledge through ongoing training and development to guarantee "Right the First Time" eyewear.
• Address and resolve eyewear-related issues as needed.
• Perform essential day-to-day operational tasks to support the store's financial and customer satisfaction goals, including opening and closing the store when in a Lead capacity.
