Retail Sales Associate

As a Retail Sales Associate at Visionworks, you'll be the welcoming face of our brand, dedicated to providing an outstanding experience for every customer and patient. You'll become proficient in optical knowledge, our diverse range of products and services, and managed vision care. This role involves guiding customers through the Visionworks journey, ensuring their eyewear needs are met with simplicity, personal care, and a bold approach. While prior optical experience is a plus, a strong customer service background is highly valued.

Qualifications:

• Ideally, 12 months of prior industry (optical) experience or ABO Certification.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent professional experience.
• Ability to maintain Optician License requirements per state guidelines, if applicable for dispensing.

Responsibilities:

• Whether it's a friendly voice on the phone or a warm greeting in-store, we seek individuals passionate about helping customers look great and see clearly.
• Dispense eyewear in states where licensing is required and maintain any necessary license requirements.
• Contribute to daily sales goals by ensuring excellent execution of the customer/patient experience.
• Engage with customers, offering recommendations for products and services that align with their eye care needs.
• Accurately measure customers for their eyewear and continuously enhance product and optical knowledge through ongoing training to ensure eyewear is Right the First Time.
• Provide troubleshooting for eyewear needs as required.
• Assist with day-to-day operational activities to support store financial and customer experience objectives, including opening and closing procedures when in a lead capacity.
