The Retail Sales Lead personally navigates individuals through the Visionworks journey, ensuring their eyewear needs are fulfilled with a focus on simplicity, human connection, and a bold approach. Candidates for this position should possess at least 12 months of prior experience within the optical industry.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 12 months of prior optical industry experience is essential (gained either within Visionworks or another organization) or possession of ABO Certification in lieu of experience.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent professional experience.
• Ability to maintain Optician License requirements per state guidelines, as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Whether it's offering a welcoming voice over the phone or a friendly greeting upon a patient's arrival, we seek individuals who are passionate about helping customers achieve optimal vision and a great look.
• This role involves maintaining and adhering to all state licensing requirements for opticians and dispensing eyewear in states where licensing is mandated.
• Consistently achieves daily sales objectives by ensuring the seamless execution of the customer/patient experience journey.
• Actively engages with patients and customers, offering personalized recommendations for products and services that align with their eye care requirements.
• Accurately measures patients/customers for their eyewear and continuously enhances product and optical knowledge through ongoing training and development to guarantee eyewear accuracy on the first attempt.
• Provides assistance with troubleshooting eyewear needs when necessary.
• Oversees daily operational activities to support the store's financial performance and customer satisfaction targets, including opening and closing the store as required for Retail Sales Lead positions.
